Each PLEXIGLAS® product is listed individually with the Underwriters Laboratory and are able to access the individual yellow card.
The amount of heat conducted through PLEXIGLAS® glazing is slightly lower than for glass of the same thickness. The values tabulated for the U-factors are for vertical windows and horizontal skylights.
What is the estimated surface deflection of PLEXIGLAS® acrylic sheet that is a horizontally mounted, flat panels?
PLEXIGLAS® MC and PLEXIGLAS® G sheet clear and colors meet the requirements of ANSI Z97.1 at thicknesses of 0.080" and greater.
Trinseo frequently receives calls requesting information on the use of our products for "flooring” applications. Trinseo does not recommend the use of any of its sheet products for any load-bearing applications.
As of January 2006, LP-391D has been discontinued. ASTM D-4802 has replaced LP-391D as the manufacturing standard for PLEXIGLAS® acrylic sheet.

Trinseo has no reason to suspect any traces of lead, cadmium, mercury or chromium are contained within the following PLEXIGLAS® clear products: PLEXIGLAS® M, G, T or Q acrylic sheet.
We do not use lead, cadmium, mercury or chromium in our process to manufacture these PLEXIGLAS® products, nor is it used as an additive for these products.
PLEXIGLAS® products that involve colors must be evaluated for the presence of heavy metals on a color-by-color basis.
NSF approves the final application, not individual components or materials. Therefore, it is not appropriate to ask if PLEXIGLAS® acrylic sheet is NSF approved.
You must contact NSF directly to gain the proper certification. It can be stated that PLEXIGLAS® acrylic sheet has been used quite successfully in NSF approved applications.

Light diffusers made exclusively from PLEXIGLAS® acrylic molding resins and PLEXIGLAS® acrylic sheet will meet the IBC criteria under model building compliance when properly installed.
PLEXIGLAS® G acrylic sheet has been accepted for use under code MEA-107-69-M.
Pursuant to Administrative Code Section 27-131, the following equipment or material has been found acceptable for use in accordance with the report of the material and equipment acceptance (MEA) division.
PLEXIGLAS® SG Plus meets the requirements of Miami Dade County Product Control Division for thicknesses ranging from 0.093" - 0.375". The NOA number is #11-1116.04. Click on the link below to access the Miami-Dade County Notice of Acceptance Letter.
MIL-PRF-5425E: this specification is for preshrunk cast acrylic sheet. PLEXIGLAS® II-UVA meets this specification.
LEED stands for leadership in energy and environmental design. Trinseo does not currently publish a LEED statement for any PLEXIGLAS® acrylic sheet product.
