Trinseo attended the International Pool-Spa-Patio / Deck Expo, which took place November 13-15, 2023, in Las Vegas, Nevada in the US. We presented our material solutions for the outdoor living market, including AVONITE™ Flex Acrylic Solid Surface for hot tubs and swim spas, PLEXIGLAS® Acrylic Sheet for privacy screens and other light diffusion applications, and SOLARKOTE™ Acrylic Capstock for decking and window frames. An event highlight was meeting customers in person, who traveled to the show from locations in the Americas, Europe, and Asia Pacific.

On display in the booth were two hot tubs: a Jacuzzi in Super White 8707, the newest color of AVONITE™ Flex, and a Royal Spa in Alabaster Wave 8705. Prospective customers complimented the new bright white 8707 color, and after a repair demo, one commented “Wow, that is amazing that scratches can be removed so easily!” A Zuri® Premium Decking display from Westlake Royal Building Products was included to represent our SOLARKOTE™ Acrylic Capstock, which provides a protective layer for good weatherability. Also featured were several PLEXIGLAS® Acrylic Sheet products, displayed in a six-panel privacy screen to showcase a variety of light diffusion effects.
During the event, the Trinseo team had the opportunity to connect with industry leaders to discuss material challenges and trends in the outdoor living market. We were excited to share our solutions to make outdoor living applications aesthetically pleasing as well as durable.
